TRP Community Resources in St. Louis, MO
Speech therapy involves the diagnosis and treatment of patients with communication and/or swallowing difficulty. Speech and language disorders can be due to medical conditions such as stroke or brain injury, or due to developmental delay or congenital anomalies. Medi-plex Healthcare Professionals work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication.
This program is operated by skilled volunteers and is the only provider of free wound care supplies services in the greater metropolitan area. As a result, TRP is always looking for support, both monetary and in-kind, to help further this great cause.
How you can help
Immediate needs that we currently have are:
- Monetary donations to assist in purchasing supplies
- Driving Volunteers to assist in delivering the supplies to patients
- Administrative volunteers to assist in organizing and packaging wound care packages
